Clearing A New Path: Creating Opportunities for Returning People – 1/11 Working Discussion (RSVP)

This is the follow up to our 10/29 kick off event. People who attended that event are strongly encouraged to attend this event – and bring others who may be interested in getting involved.

Let’s get to work.

The primary feedback that we have gotten from the first Clearing A New Path session is that people want more time to talk and to make real plans for real action.

We have reserved two hours to do a working session. The format for our next meeting will be minimal introduction and majority facilitated small group conversations. The event will conclude with tangible takeaways and action steps.

Task forces: Some people have already indicated that they would like to join these working groups that will plan and help build on the work between sessions. Anyone is welcomed to join these groups and attendance at this next session does not mean that you have to join a task force.

The three breakout discussions topics will be: employment, housing, and messaging/getting the word out.

Please note: All groups and sessions are not exclusive by any means. To the contrary, please invite anyone to these sessions. The more people throughout our community that we can engage in this discussion, the more successful it will be.

Hakim Crampton from JustLeadershipUSA will also discuss his closely aligned statewide #WORKINGfuture campaign.
